Dana and David began practicing law together in 2005.  This father-daughter lawyer team shows how to survive and thrive working side by side.  Their mix of legal and life experience blend well.

Both David and Dana proudly serve as affiliated attorneys with the Armed Citizen Legal Defense Network, Inc., which provides their members with preparation, education and legal defense who defend themselves and their family, and then face unmeritorious prosecution by the criminal justice system.

Firearms Lawyer Dana M. Ausbrooks is a graduate from Nashville School of Law in 2000. She is admitted to practice before all the State and Federal Courts in Tennessee, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Dana grew up in Tennessee and started shooting at an early age at the guidance of her father, David Ausbrooks.  She is a Lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Tennessee Firearms Association.

With over twelve years of courtroom experience, Dana has been given the opportunity to defend clients charged with everything from DUI to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon to first degree murder.  Dana has represented accused persons in every Municipal Court, General Sessions Court, and Circuit Court in the 21st Judicial District, which includes Williamson, Hickman, Lewis and Perry Counties, as well as numerous courts in counties throughout the state of Tennessee.  In addition to her work as an attorney, she is an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Program at Columbia State Community College where she teaches classes in Criminal Law and Effective Communication for Criminal Justice Professionals.

Firearms Lawyer David M. Ausbrooks
